Role Description

As an established and rapidly growing company in the financial technology sector this is an ideal time to join FNZ and progress your career. Reporting into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition this exciting new role, based in new Shanghai office will manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for our Asian region. The role will involve developing our employment brand and talent pipeline as well as taking responsibility for developing the direct recruitment model into a business-aligned, value adding function. In this role you will truly be a key component in our plans to increase our headcount and footprint in Asia.




  • Management of the full recruitment process in the Asia region
  • Build an effective local employment brand within the local Shanghai and Asian market
  • Promote the FNZ brand at university careers fairs
  • Build relationships with Key stakeholders at targeted universities
  • Direct sourcing and headhunting of best in class talent adhering to FNZ standards
  • Relationship manager between key local stakeholders and Talent acquisition
  • Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates to ensure they meet business requirements
  • Facilitating and conducting assessment days for a large number of graduate candidates
  • Liaising with Senior Management to ascertain current and future talent acquisition needs
  • Undertaking direct sourcing strategies to ensure consistent results and high quality hires at the lowest possible cost
  • Providing guidance to the business on recruitment market conditions, competitor hiring and compensation information.
  • Partnering with senior business leaders to identify, attract and hire “best in class” talent
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates to support continuous recruitment
  • Tracking and reporting recruiting statistics and maintaining our in-house recruiting system with a high level of integrity and accuracy
  • Managing vendor relationships with external recruiting agencies
  • Participating in global talent acquisition and HR initiatives and promoting leading practices
  • Participating in graduate and university internship recruiting initiatives
  • Promote brand awareness along with graduate and intern programs at University career fairs
  • Assist other FNZ Locations with recruiting activities where required
  • Produce KPIs and measures to track levels of recruitment, cost of hire, time to fill and source of hire


Experience Required


  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience (Desirable)
  • Significant experience working within Talent Acquisition preferably within an in-house recruitment model
  • Experience recruiting within the IT and Finance sector
  • Ability to work effectively as a team to drive an excellent resourcing service to the business
  • Organised and proactive, with the drive to deliver results and manage self effectively
  • Has a high impact as a communicator - verbally, written and in meetings
  • Works with others in a collaborative and solutions focused manner to achieve measurable outcomes that improvement business performance.
  • End to end in-house recruitment experience including brief taking, screening, competency based interviewing and offer management
  • Consultative in approach with the gravitas to influence key stakeholders
  • Experienced in building upon and improving existing processes and procedures
  • Able to quickly establish credibility and maintain positive & productive working relationships with colleagues, business leaders, managers and customers as well as demonstrating an understanding of the implications of internal and external politics
  • Ability to handle high volume recruitment
