Role Description

  • Researching new best UI / UX practices;
  • Developing new tools and products to aid end-user experience;
  • Branding working sales demos for prospects;
  • Defining and delivering solutions for platform UIs;
  • Liaising with customers and internal FNZ staff on achieving the best outcome;
  • Tracking progress of build;
  • Reporting to line manager on progress of projects;
  • Testing build meets browser, accessibility and platform standards; and

Checking the quality of final output is to the standards expected of the team.

Experience Required

  • Degree in Computing Science/Software Engineering/IT and other related subjects;
  • Expert knowledge of strict HTML and CSS;
  • Experience with creating W3C compliant cross browser compatible websites;
  • A good working knowledge of latest and emerging technology such as HTML5 and CSS3;
  • A good knowledge of UX practices;
  • Knowledge of wire-framing packages such as Axure;
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and an understanding of JavaScript frameworks (JQuery etc.);
  • Confident and able to take initiative given client and delivery-focused environment;
  • Candidates should be able to work independently, meet deadlines and take responsibility for their own workload;
  • Experience of usability issues and best practice;
  • A keen eye for pixel perfect application of graphic designs;
  • Experience/knowledge of SASS/LESS/REACT would be an advantage, as would a working knowledge of C#, VB or other high level programming languages; and

Communication skills are important, as you will be working closely with other members of the brand and UI design team in both the Czech Republic and the UK.
