  • Role Description

    This position is located within our Wellington office and has primary responsibility for supporting the audit and control frameworks within FNZ, and carrying out the comprehensive compliance monitoring function.  In addition the analyst will assist with other day-to-day compliance activities of the business with the objective of ensuring that compliance arrangements are run in an efficient, effective and consistent manner.

     

    The analyst will report to the Risk and Compliance Manager and be part of the Asia-Pacific Risk and Compliance team, (which is part of the wider Group Risk and Compliance Function). The role will allow the candidate to develop their compliance and risk capabilities and will involve day to day interaction with employees.

    Experience Required

    Prior experience in internal audit, risk or compliance is required.

     

    The following professional and functional qualities are desirable but not essential for prospective applicants:

     

    • Minimum of an undergraduate degree;
    • Experience in financial services industry and knowledge of the New Zealand financial sector;
    • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills essential;
    • Problem Solving and Analysis;
    • Strong time management skills together with good presentation and facilitation skills are required.
