  • Role Description

    Responsible for assisting the FNZ management team with the day to day running of the Asset Reconciliations Team within the Brno Investment Operations.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Resource / Workload; Work with team manager to allocate workload and monitor the progress of team tasks on a daily basis.
    • Effective Communication; work with Brno/Edinburgh Team and Management to ensure effective output of performance is shared.
    • Team Development; responsible for the training & mentoring of team members.
    • Procedures; work with Brno/Edinburgh Team and Management to review and improve procedures.
    • Procedures & Processes; champion procedure and process enhancements to negate future repetition.
    • Record Keeping; maintain records as required to ensure the investment process is transparent to regulators and external auditors regarding breach and reconciliation recording.
    • Information Systems; make effective use of the Company’s information systems that are relevant to the role, raise system issues and suggest improvements to negate future repetition.
    • CPD; develop professional and technical knowledge and skills via training and development in order to meet Continuing Professional Development requirements.
    • Other tasks; to undertake any other projects/ tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the company.
    • This role is in scope for activities which have a direct impact on CASS processing which takes place within FNZ for FNZ and/or FNZ’s clients. This role has a requirement to remain up to date with CASS developments and changes as communicated with FNZ

     

    Experience Required

    • Knowledge of FNZ platforms and Investment Operations processes & standards.
    • Good people management and conflict resolution skills.
    • Understand development needs of sub-ordinates and address the same while maintaining high motivation levels.
    • The ability to build effective relationships, both within the immediate team and wider business.
    • Has demonstrated an ability to work under pressure whilst ensuring KPI’s are met.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Well organized and highly motivated.
