The Software Architect role at FNZ has overall responsibility for the software design and technology across all FNZ platforms. They will also be responsible for setting the roadmap for future development and enhancements.
The role will work within a team of technical architects that have overall responsibility for the future development of all of FNZ’s core application. They are responsible for ensuring that the application meets the functional and non-functional requirements of our clients and FNZ.
The role will work closely with the Business Architecture team and Infrastructure to ensure technical solutions and decisions made are in-line with the wider business objectives. They will work very closely with the development team to ensure there is a clear understanding of, and all future build adheres to, the overall technical roadmap and application design strategy.
The role requires both excellent technical abilities and communication skills. They will be responsible for documenting the roadmap, development standards and proposals for new initiatives. Software Architects are also expected to be ‘hands-on’ when required to help solve technical problems or design particularly sensitive areas of the system.
The role is based in the A/NZ region and sits within the Technical Architecture team which is part of Group Technology.
