  • Role Description

    The Risk Analyst is to act as the primary Risk contact in respect of specific Platform Clients. The responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Attend/Lead ‘pre-JRCC’ meetings to ensure all actions have been progressed and updates are prepared for all FNZ related items.
    • Attend regular client meetings (e.g. Breach / JRCC) and resolve all actions within agreed timescales.
    • Deliver client reporting on time and accurately.
    • Deliver client Risk Event (including Breach) reporting within required deadlines.
    • To respond to client enquiries in a prompt and business-like manner.
    • Any other client managing related responsibilities .

    There may be additional requirement to support the development of the Global Risk & Control Framework (GRCF). This includes but is not limited to:

    • Risk Assessment.
    • Risk & Control Self-Assessment.
    • Risk Event (including Breaches) reporting, and associated management of Action Plans.
    • FNZ Global Policies.
    • Business Continuity.
    • Risk Management Information.
    • Training.

     

    To promote a positive risk aware culture, and ensure that the reputation of the Risk Team is maintained to a high standard.  To support the Risk & Compliance Management team as directed.

     

    Role Responsibilities

     

    Client Managing

    • Attend/Lead ‘pre-JRCC’ meetings to ensure all actions have been progressed and updates are prepared for all FNZ related items.
    • Attend regular client meetings (e.g. Breach / JRCC) and resolve all actions within agreed timescales.
    • Deliver client reporting on time and accurately.
    • Deliver client Risk Event (including Breach) reporting within required deadlines.
    • To respond to client enquiries in a prompt and business-like manner.

     

    Risk Culture

    • Deliver Training including: Risk & Compliance Induction/Refresher Training, GRCF Overview, Continuity of Business, Risk Event and Breach Training, and any other relevant training as required.
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders accurately and within required timeframes.
    • Written and verbal communication to be of a high standard.
    • This role has a requirement to remain up to date with CASS developments and changes as communicated with FNZ.

    Managing Relationships

    • Building an effective network of relationships across the internal and external stakeholder landscape is a critical aspect of the role.
    • Providing support to key client stakeholders to enable effective risk management process and information flow.
    • Providing support to key business stakeholders and wider risk team.

    Experience Required

    Required

    • Experience in financial services.
    • Knowledge of the UK financial services and regulatory framework including the CASS Sourcebook.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at a variety of levels within a regulated environment, both internally and externally.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationship with clients.
    • Experience in risk management and control.
    • Ability to take initiatives and work under pressure.

     

    Desirable

     

    • Client managing experience.
    • Working knowledge of banking, insurer, asset management..
    • Experience with platform providers in financial services.
    • Related professional or industry qualifications.
    • Experience working in 2nd Line Risk.
