  • Role Description

    We are looking for bright graduates to join as Internal Client Money Reconciliations Officer in Edinburgh. They’ll go on the industry development programme with the increments and support studying the IOC. 


    The Internal Client Money Reconciliations team is responsible for carrying out daily client money reconciliations under the FCA Client Assets (CASS) rules.

    The Officer will report directly into the Team Manager, with support provided from Senior Officers within the team.



    • Completion of daily client money reconciliations
    • Requesting / monitoring payments for client money funding
    • Dealing with clients’ CASS queries
    • Supporting clients’ CASS audits and reviews

    Experience Required

    • Awareness of Investment Operations
    • Awareness of financial instruments
    • Willingness to learn client money regulatory requirements (CASS)
    • Confidence dealing with managers across business operations
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Understanding of service excellence
    • Self-starter capable of working independently as well as an effective team player and collaborator
    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
    • Ability to quickly absorb new concepts and business knowledge
